For those students that can not make WIMBA "work" successfully, then you always have the option of completing the "alternative participation" papers.

COURSE INFORMATION
I will create individual folders to hold all of your graded papers (as soon as the class completes the first wirtten assignment).
All you need to do is go to: www.johnstockmyer.com/yourlastnameyourfirst initial
For example: If your name is Johnny Martin-Ruiz, simply go to: www.johnstockmyer.com/ruizj
Hopefully, this will be a convenient way for you to get your papers back in a timely manner.
If you have any trouble, or do NOT want your papers posted in this manner, let me know.
Minimum requirements to participate in the WIMBA LIVE class sessions:
A Broadband Internet Connection (at least of 512 Kbps or higher)
A USB Headset/Mic (Having a good microphone is MANDATORY for you to participate)
A USB Web cam for your computer (Having a web cam is STRONGLY SUGGESTED for the best participation experience)

How to access the Live Classroom:
- Log onto to Blackboard
- Click on "Tools" and scroll all the way down
- Click on the WIMBA Live Classroom icon
- Click on the link: MKT 517 Live Classroom
- Run the Setup Wizard
Notes on the Setup Wizard:
- You MUST turn OFF any pop-up blockers on your web browser, or the Setup Wizard won't work.
- It may take a few minutes for the Setup Wizard to go through its steps.
- When asked for approval to install software, or controls, etc. approve of them.
- You should not have to run the Setup Wizard again once you have completed it.
- When you see the words: Welcome to MKT 517 Live Classroom, you are in.
NOTE:
- You may access the MKT 517 Live Classroom any time you like.

If you have difficulty with turnitin. . . you may e-mail it to my school e-mail address. However, you must learn to use turnitin, as that is where I will require you to sumbit all of your written assignments.

1/25: Please note some changes to the live class dates. These changes were necessary to prevent overlap with another MBA course that also meets on alternate Tuesday nights. The dates that have been changed are after Spring Break.

1/24: Hope to see some (if not all) of you live tonight in the Balckboard/WIMBA Session. Attendance tonight is completely voluntary. In the next 24 hours I will post more information concerning my specific expectations for participation for the Distance students. I will also talk about it tonight in the WIMBA Session.

1/18: Some of you that are enrolled in the SW (online section) of this course attempted to participate in the WIMBA Live Classroom at 7:00 last night. I did NOT intend for anyone to do that. You are one week early. Please try again next Tuesday night (Jan. 24th). On the 24th I will be ready for our first WIMBA session. Sorry for any confusion!
